Q: What is Hypnosis?
A: It is an alert, pleasantly relaxed state of mind and body wherein the mental abilities are enhanced, causing a highly suggestible altered state of consciousness. You do not lose consciousness or control at any time! Most individuals have little or no awareness that hypnosis is even taking place. The results are natural and subtle.
The key to hypnosis is the imagination. It’s a psychological fact that the imagination is more powerful than the willpower when it comes to controlling the body, the mind and the emotions. Hypnotic and Post-Hypnotic suggestions have been scientifically proven to be able to powerfully stimulate the imagination and thereby achieve positive and permanent behavior changes.
Q: Can anyone be hypnotized?
A: Most individuals can be successfully hypnotized if they remain attentive, cooperative and have a true desire to change. Everyone can at least reach a light degree of hypnosis. You cannot be hypnotized if you don’t want to be and you cannot be made to do anything while under hypnosis that is against your moral or ethical code. A: You are not asleep. You are aware of your surroundings at all times. Your senses are very alert and your body is relaxed. You hear everything that is said.
